that was six months ago and it that feels like such a long time ago. it's amazing how much baby girl has changed in such a short amount of time. from a little baby that stayed where you left her to a little toddler who won't stay anywhere more than a few moments. at three months, baby girl was still discovering her voice. now she has found it and uses it regularly.
my mom likes to say, "you spend the first year of your baby's life trying to get them to talk and walk. and then you spend the rest of their life trying to get them to keep quiet and sit still."
(and when it comes to church, we're definitely in phase two. any ideas on teaching a nine-, almost ten-month-old, about reverence?)
with all these changes i'm hoping to get around to putting together a photo album for baby girl's first year of life before i forget it all. i don't know if i can commit to a childhood-long scrapbooking endeavor. but, i am going to aim for at least her first year.

Reverence is hard at the young ages, but distractions are sometimes useful - small snacks and books to occupy her. You probably could think of all of that on your own, but that is what I have to offer.
