last week i was going through a box of "inventory" (my stashes of stuff you never know when you might need it), when i found a kazoo. just a cheap, plastic, party favor one. i pulled it out to show baby girl.
she giggled and watched me intently as i buzzed a few tunes. then i gave the kazoo to her, and baby girl just chewed on it. i tried to explain the kazoo-blowing technique, but she didn't really grasp what i was teaching. so, i played and she chewed, and after five minutes, we were both ready for something else to do.
today i pulled out the kazoo again in an attempt to entertain baby girl. (baby girl's second encounter with the kazoo, mind you.) after playing a tune, i gave the kazoo to her. and to my amazement, baby girl had mastered the kazoo.
she was very excited to share a little song she wrote. baby girl's first music video -- kazoo for you.

I always knew your kids would be exceptional, but this is really extraordinary. Thank you for sharing!
Was that Arirang? Has Joe been teaching her traditional Korean songs?
