while my mom was in town, we made a batch of mixed berry jam. but, baby girl ended up sleeping through her first lesson in domesticity.
then baby girl took a ride in her baby bjorn around the botanical gardens -- which she also slept through. but she looked so cute sporting her pink ladybug hat.
baby girl had her first bath. she's not yet a fan of the water, but loves her towel.
at her two-week check-up, baby girl wowed her pediatrician (and parents!) by gaining 17 ounces since her 4-day-old check-up. she's a good little eater!

Joe, this is your brother Mark. It has been doing nothing but raining for the past two weeks and I am very discouraged. I think I might be borderline on depression! Please post a picture of the "stache" ASAP!!!!
