we're back . . .

baby girl at lunch in london the day before we flew home

and this is how i feel today! i've already taken one nap with baby girl. almost took a second one, but it was after 4 p.m. and i told myself i wouldn't sleep tonight if i slept now. so, i decided to post instead. baby girl actually did pretty well last night -- our first night home. she woke up at 2:45 a.m., ate, and went back to sleep! (which brought me much happiness, since i hadn't slept on the plane and had only been asleep 4 hours at that point.) and then woke up for the day at 5:30 a.m.

for almost two months now, baby girl has slept through the night. (she's so good to me!) hopefully we'll get back to that schedule in the next day or two, because we both need our beauty sleep.

so, while we were gone . . .

mr. pike traded in this fine vehicle -- our '98 dodge stratus es . . . for this newer one -- a '04 nissan xtera. anyone up for camping?

Baby girl is officially better traveled than I am. Well, probably not through the united states, but definitely in her adventures abroad.

Oh no!!!!! Joe traded the Dodge? Ok, it probably really was time. Such good memories in the Dodge, though. The Nissan is very pretty and shiny. Probably a bit more user friendly now that you have baby girl, too!
