oh where, oh where have we been?

we have just returned from our wild west tour -- getting back to our roots and spending time with family . . . but most importantly, having a wedding!

not for mr. pike and me. we already did that. but for my sister, miss m. -- now mrs. wright. she is a logical romantic at heart, the kind jane austen wrote about. that strong spirited heroine that is patient about love -- knowing that a kind and selfless love is worth waiting for.

but now my sister's wait is over. she has found such a good, kind man. and i am so very happy for them.


while we were in the midst of family pictures after the wedding, i caught this moment between mr. and mrs. wright. i think it shows everything between them.
