you may be familiar with norwegian painter edvard munch's the scream. if you always wondered what sound this scream might sounded like, i think i found it in my very own baby girl.
just a few days ago, baby girl discovered her vocal range. and now she likes to exercise it regularly.
when miss m. and i were on the phone the other day, baby girl let out her new shriek. miss m. said, "oh, how cute!" perhaps it is when you hear it through a phone. but, try it in person when you're on a plane or a train. (our fellow passengers didn't think it so cute!)
miss m., here's a little clip of baby girl and her scream. (fortunately for all of cyberspace it's a short clip, and we end with her charming smile.) but, if you'd like the real life effect, just play the clip over and over for 5-10 minutes.
maybe baby girl's just getting ready for halloween. we could hide her behind the bushes to scare the trick-o-treaters!

We've watched her 4 times and can't wait to hear the squeal echoing throughout our two story living room and loft! Come quickly Amelia! Your fan club awaits...
love it, love it, love it! i still think it's cute.
Those shrieks have a tendency to just keep getting louder and longer the older they get. So, something to look forward to[?].
Also, she is absolutely adorable!
