little girl has an opinion when it comes to fashion. and she'll put up a fight for wearing what she wants -- so, mr. pike and i don't contest her choices much anymore.
her style isn't mainstream, by any means. i like to think of it more as avant-garde.
let's start with socks. she likes socks and will go through several pairs a day. mr. pike and i don't even match them anymore in the laundry, because most often little girl likes mixing patterns and styles. i especially liked this mix of layering.
this was someone's after nap outfit yesterday. chosen by herself. and worn when we went to the post office. today she wore two different shoes when we went grocery shopping. one converse tennis shoe and one of the brown boots she's wearing above.
who knows, maybe little girl's style might be the next big thing to hit fashion week.

that's funny!! i love the layering socks
Too cute! They get their own little personalities early on and some battles just aren't worth fighting. I love her sense of style! And one day you'll enjoy showing these to her children. Hope you're feeling well.
