we're moving

with our newest addition on his way, we're planning on moving into a larger space in a month or so. fortunately, it's not too far away from where we are. we love our friends. we love our little town. and we love being close to the lake and only a train ride from the city.

this weekend, we made a purchase for our new home. a couch. just like this one. it's 89" -- so mr. pike or even yao ming could rest comfortably on it. (okay, so it's an inch shorter than yao, but he can prop his head on a pillow and still stretch out.)

it's a brown weave -- with a bit of plum, slate, and cream woven throughout. i'm already envisioning accessories. although, i did promise mr. pike that i wouldn't use too much plum. we love its clean lines. and it's really comfortable. i can't wait to curl up with a book on it.
