this hasn't always been my favorite holiday. but, now that i have a permanent valentine -- it's a lot more fun to celebrate. although, mr. pike will agree, that i'm not the most sentimental woman. so as long as i don't have to do anything mushy, i'm a good sport.
mr. pike and i are on holiday, visiting his family. and so for this valentine's day, we got to spread the love among many. the day began with heart shaped french toast. and ended with heart shaped cupcakes.
in between, mr. pike surprised me with a rose, four frozen pizzas (my new favorite food), and an i-tunes giftcard. i surprised him back also with an i-tunes giftcard. i guess new music has been on both of our minds lately.
lots of love. yummy pizza. and new music. that's my kind of day. happy valentine's day.
