in our absence . . .

the pikes haven't been on the internet much these last few weeks.  partly, because someone's dad had yet to order internet services for his new home in idaho.

but while we were away, the kiddies and i (mrs. pike) helped move my parents into their newly finished home -- along with the help of mrs. wright and rml and family.  (mr. pike had to stay at the homefront to bring home the bacon.)  in soda springs, there was a lot of unpacking, washing dishes and sheets, and cleaning going on.

it's a really beautiful home.  worth all the blood, sweat, and tears -- right, rml?!

we can't wait for our next visit, when we'll probably come at the same time as laying sod or creating a rock retention wall.  no worries, padres, we'll roll up our sleeves and get to work.
